The beautiful Church of St. Mary The Virgin is located in St. James St, Kemptown, just a short 2 minute walk from the Aids Memorial.
Parking is very limited in the immediate neighbourhood of the church. There is metered parking available for non-residents for up to four hours along Freshfield Road, to the north-east of the church, on the other side of Edward Street/Eastern Road. There is also 24-hour underground pay-and-display parking available at the High Street Car Park, four blocks to the west of the church.
The church is very well served for busses, being on or close to the following routes: 1, 1A, 2, 7, 12, 12A, 14, 14B, 14C, 18, 27, 52, 71, N1, N7, N12 & N14.

61 St. James's Street
The body of the church is accessed via a short flight of marble steps, which has a handrail on either side. There is a stair lift for wheelchairs and mobility scooters, accessed via the old main entrance of the church on St James’s Street, which has a completely step-free entrance from the pavement. There is an accessible toilet in the church hall next door and step-free access to the hall.
