Heroes Saturday 2nd May

2nd May @ 7:30 pm 10:00 pm

Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus is back for the Fringe with a feel-good show about the queer icons who helped shape us as well as the heroes right here in our own city.

We’ll be celebrating the heroes many of us grew up with, from David Bowie, Freddie Mercury and George Michael, through to newer heroes like JADE who are carrying that legacy forward today.

Alongside choral favourites and a handful of solos, the show also features interviews with LGBTQ+ heroes from Brighton & Hove, putting the spotlight on those doing brilliant things for our community right now.

All the music is arranged by our in-house music team, giving familiar songs a fresh choral twist. Expect to laugh, shed a few tears and to experience plenty of queer joy, as we celebrate the artists who helped us feel seen growing up, and the local heroes still making a difference today.
